Guys, it may still be early December, but in my heart, mind and soul it’s already Christmas!! And as I type this, I’m listening to the most wonderful Christmas playlist on Spotify. It’s foggy and cold outside, so this Christmas spirit is keeping extra me cozy and happy right now.
These days I’ve been feeling a bit restless; I want to fill my time with productivity and purpose. I want to make memories that I can keep and cherish as the years go by. I started writing a journal, and this time I’m trying to be very diligent about it – I’ve tried and failed so many times! Next thing on my list sounds very simple and perhaps even a bit obvious for a member of the Millennial generation: I want to take more pictures of random moments, little details and people in my daily life. I don’t do it as often as I’d like and every time I go through old pictures on my camera I feel this warm feeling of nostalgia running through my veins and it makes me feel so good.
Remember when Monica Geller’s New Year resolution was to take more pictures of everyone and she proceeded by doing so constantly, like a madwoman, driving everyone else crazy? I’ll be some version of that. Next weekend I’ll be going to Hanover to visit a friend and that’s an excellent opportunity to take tons of pictures and make memories. They’re better be prepared, they have no idea what’s coming their way. Say cheese!!
