There’s still love amidst the coronavirus pandemic, and despite the chaos and confusion we’re currently living, love always prevails and love is always a good reason to celebrate, isn’t it? The promises of new beginnings, the butterflies in the stomach…being in love is like living a little miracle in this crazy world.
Actress Julia Garner married musician Mark Foster a few months ago in an intimate New York City Hall wedding – the photos are absolutely stunning! They first met each other 7 years ago, and were together for 10 months before Mark proposed. They decided to get married at City Hall in NYC, just like her parents did 40 years ago. She wanted a Carrie Bradshaw moment and wore a beautiful Danielle Frankel pantsuit.
Is there anything quite romantic as a New York City Hall wedding?
The next day, they had a dinner with family and friends at Locanda Verde in Tribeca to celebrate. After that, they loaded their guests into a bus and took everyone to the Public Hotel, where they cut the cake and danced for the rest of the night.
Their first dance was to “Lovers in a Stream.” “It was a surprise,” Julia says. “Mark wrote, produced, and sang it. It was very surreal, and the most beautiful present I’ve ever received. It felt like I was floating up in the air—it was the most magical moment I’ve ever had. The only people who heard this song were at the wedding, but it will come out soon. It’s a beautiful love song, and I’m excited for the world to hear it.”
Would you ever consider getting married at City Hall?
